About
Koubouratou Idjaton is a scientist specialised in applied research in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. She has over a decade experiences in software engineering, data and AI. Trained in Benin, the USA and France, she holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Orleans, an Executive certificate in Business Administration from Kellogg Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Abomey-Calavi. Her experience has been working as an expert on several AI and Data projects building real world solutions with AI. Her work combines research and concrete applications for products in a variety of sectors: industry, administration, environment, aeronautics and cultural heritage. With a pronounced engagement for education and knowledge sharing, she teaches in Polytech, for business professionals and executives; and in online teaching and mentoring through OpenClassrooms.
Short Story
Born in Porto-Novo, the capital of Benin, Dr. IDJATON Koubouratou Olowountogni grew up between Lokossa and Cotonou, two cities that shaped her identity and broadened her vision. She is a passionate advocate for gender equality, youth engagement, and the promotion of science and technology. The daughter of a mathematician and a devoted artisan mother, Dr. IDJATON inherited both scientific rigor and artistic creativity. Her diverse cultural background instilled in her a deep respect for others, a spirit of tolerance, and a strong belief in continuous learning as a path to better serve humanity.
